As the title of this article might suggest, Mozilla have branched out into mobile communications by launching two gladiators into the smartphone arena. The two devices, the ZTE Open and Alcatel One Touch Fire are powered by Mozilla’s own operating system and everything else that we’ve come to expect from our super pocket devices. Each is priced at €69 (including €30 of credit for pre-paid users), but you might want to up the memory from the measly 512MB that comes as standard!
Oh, but the choice; iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows, Google Glass, and on… What do you think of it? Will it gain a market share?

The Android similar Firefox OS is an HTML5-based open-source system, which is intended will compete with Android. I suppose it all comes down to whether developers will become interested or not. Well – will you?
